TO ALLAH WE BELONG AND TO HIM WE RETURN
ALLAH (The Glorified, The Exalted) said: "Verily, those who say: "Our Lord is ALLAH (Alone)," and then they stand firm, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): "Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised!" (Surah Fussilat 41 verse 30)
Islam has lost one of its faithful servants and the Tariqa Tidjaniya a prestigious Caliph. We announce in this blessed month of Ramadan, during last night, the return to ALLAH of our honorable master, the noble incomparable descendant of our beloved Prophet (prayers and peace be upon him) and grandson of the Hidden Pole Seyyidina Ahmed Tijani (may Allah sanctify his precious secret), Sidi Hajj M'hammed Tijani, World Caliph of the Tidjaniya (may ALLAH have mercy on him).
He was given this deep and heavy responsibility in January 2006, he succeeded Sidi Abdeljabbar Tijani (may ALLAH have mercy on him), he honored this function by his qualities of kindness, altruism, humility...
As witnessed countless visitors, he has educated each member of his noble family, men, women and children to be the servants of the disciples of Seyyidina Ahmed Tijani (may Allah sanctify his precious secret) wherever they come, and whatever their number is, with hospitality and selflessness. He was a tireless defender of peace and reconciliation, he sent his children to the fields of conflict in Sudan to bring peace between the tribes. His list of virtues can not be fully listed and ALLAH suffices as a Witness.
We join all members of his honorable family to attest to his dedication to serving the good, serving the servants of ALLAH, and we dedicate all our requests of Mercy and Approval of God to him.

ALLAH The Glorified, The Exalted said:
"Ramadan is the (month) in which the Quran was sent down, as a guide to mankind and a clear guidance and judgment (so that mankind will distinguish from right and wrong)" (Quran 2:183)
"...whoever witnesses the month of Ramadan should fast through it..." (Quran 2:185)The Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings be upon him) said:"When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained." (Bukhari)
Narrated Abu Huraira(may ALLAH be satisfied with him): the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said "whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain ALLAH's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven." (Bukhari).The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever does not abandon false utterances and practicing upon it [while fasting], ALLAH cares not that the person abandon his food and drink. (Bukhari)
"False utterances" refers to all verbal sins which include, but are not limited to, lying, giving false evidence, cursing, engulfing oaths, slandering, backbiting, and reviling. "False practices" refers to deceptive, immoral, and sinful practices. "Then Allah cares not..." because the purpose of fasting is not simply to deprive oneself of nourishment, but rather to acquire purity and control of one's desires [the evil-inciting self, the unbridled soul which by its very nature directs it owner toward every wrong act]. If one's fast does not deter one from evil and shameful deeds, then it is deficient and not looked upon by ALLAH with appreciation.
Backbiting is very broad in Islam and considered a major sin. Abu Hurayra (may ALLAH be satisfied with him) narrates that the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings be upon him) asked [his Companions], "Do you know what backbiting is?" They replied, "ALLAH and His Messenger know best." He said, "Backbiting is to say something about your brother which he dislikes." Someone asked, "What if what I saw about him is true?" The Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If what you say about him is true, then you have backbitten him, if not, then you have slandered him." (Muslim)
