Sidi Muhammad ibn Mazouz (May ALLAH be satisfied with him)
Abou'Abdallah Sidi Moussa ibn Ma'zouz (May Allah be pleased with him) is the Sherif, the Muqadem, one of the pillars of the Tariqa, one of those who had a strong foothold in the Tariqa. He had a heightened aspiration. He had a genuine Opening and an unquestionable gift of seeing (spiritual unveiling...) and he is one of the ten persons whom the Prophet (May Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) granted the sizable Opening as Seidina Ahmed Tidjani (May Allah sanctify his precious secret) mentioned it.
It is reported that Sidi Moussa ibn Ma'zouz (May Allah be pleased with him) used to ask a great deal of questions to Seidina (May Allah sanctify his precious secret), as well as to do intense research to the point where some of the elite from among the companions fear for his lack of Adeb.
Thus, once, after he was sitting with Seidina Ahmed Tidjani (May Allah sanctify his precious secret), the beloved Sidi Mohamed Salassi (May Allah be pleased with him), who was older than Sidi Moussa (May Allah be pleased with him), called him and said: "You Sidi Moussa, I fear for you whenever you sit by Seidina (May Allah sanctify his precious secret) because of your persisting questions, which is a lack of respect from the part of disciple to his Sheikh."
He then carried on speaking about the matter until Seidina (May Allah sanctify his precious secret) had the both of them called.
They immediately reported to him. He then asked Sidi Mohamed Salassi (May Allah be pleased with him): "What is it that you have against Sidi Moussa? He is beloved by us despite whatever his situation may be." Ever since, whenever Sidi Mohamed (May Allah be pleased with him) came across him, he would say: "O you Sidi Moussa, do not worry as you are a member of the circle of loved ones.''
Countless prodigies and wonders have been reported about him, among which is a story that has it that one day when he was sitting a kitten entered his house and started meowing and walking up and down the house. Sidi Moussa ibn Ma'zouz (May Allah be pleased with him) said to his son: "get up take this kitten to such house of Sa'oud street, that's where it comes from, and that's what it told me."
Astonished, the son obeyed his father. He left the kitten in front of the house, and it was pleased. On his way back, the son heard a voice from the house: "It is the kitten that we left at this place and here it is again. How could it come back since we left it very far from here?"
